In 2016 I was recovering from a serious head injury from surfing Banzai pipeline. I had been engaged in a range of treatments although I didn’t feel quite right. I lacked power in my turns - something was missing.
David explained to me how trauma imbalances the energetic system in a particular way, this made sense how this was effecting my surfing both mentally and physically.
The first session with David had a profound effect on me. My first surf that afternoon I could feel my feet and connect more powerfully with my board and the ocean – something shifted. I felt back in my body and felt stronger and more balanced. After a series of sessions with David I made a dream comeback by taking out the first event of the 2017 World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour at Snapper finishing 6th overall for 2017.
I can’t thank David enough as he helped play a vital role in helping me return to the top ten in the professional surfing tour.
